Barcelona to Host Historic Game at Upgraded Camp Nou over the weekend
The club confirmed their first game will take place at the still-under-construction Camp Nou over the weekend. Athletic Bilbao will visit Athletic Bilbao in La Liga two and a half years since relocating so building work could begin.

Not all seats will be available though over 45,000 attendees are permitted inside based on approved permits. When completed, the Camp Nou is due to hold over 104,000 attendees, a rise from the old capacity. Officials confirmed finished work included a new players’ tunnel plus modern locker rooms.
Stadium Testing
The club conducted a fan-accessible workout on the home pitch in early November. Officials stated they are seeking authorization from Uefa to play their next home Champions League game facing Eintracht next month at the stadium. They have been hosting matches at Estadio Olímpic Lluís Companys.
